Arrived in office today only to get hit by the shock of the New Leave System. In order to promote "Work-life Balance", from today onwards, all staff will have to clear the previous yr's leave by June. Besides, all can only carry 10 days of current yr's leave to the next. Best, the leave-encashment scheme would be removed upon resignation.
Having finally cleared 21 days of leave in less than 1.5 mths. I am now forced to plan for another 21 days within the coming half year, and another 11 days in the next. Looks like I am forced to plan long vacation like Europe or exotic hiking trips ... if that can be approved in the 1st place. Sigh, will I still be needed in my office when I come back? :(
