The texture of this gel looks matted in the container but feels watery when applied onto the skin. Nonetheless, it absorbed quite readily onto the skin and didn't cause me any breakouts. It's slightly & pleasantly fragranced but not too strong.
Guess it's quite a pleasant basic moisturiser for the price paid.
