Usually, only the Gymnastics and Spring Board Diving would capture my attention. Yet, really enjoyed the Men's table tennis (German VS Japan) in the afternoon and the Men's Soccer game (Belgium vs Italy) tonight.
The match between the 19 year-old Italian, Dimitrij Ovtcharov (World's 14th) and Yo Kan (World's 19th) was really a close fight. They both seemed to scored, not really by fantastic angles, but rather, by each other's mistakes. Most of the time, they were taking turns winning the points. One really couldn't tell, who will get the final score as both had put up a fantastic performance. I somehow find the way the Italiano's way of serfing hillarious, stooping low at the table and rising again. =.= Think I actually hear the audience giggling whenever it's his serfis. The final result was 11-7 11-13 13-11 9-11 and 12-10 with Dimitrij's win, whom finally smile after pulling a long face throughout the game
Was really excited by the soccer match which had just ended. Didn't know that the Belgiums could maneuver the ball so beautifully! The referee seems to be pretty busy too, and I was really impressed by his stamina :P The game ended with Belgium winning the match with a 3-2.
