After a few days of luggage hunting, I have decided to list down wat I've gathered fr the sales ppl abt the luggage material in general:
Polypropylene:
Strongest material, also the heaviest. Hence WILL NOT dent or break unless u r really unlucky. Comes in the original finishing. Not as prone to wear-&-tear as compared to the others. Most durable.
Polycarbonate
Not as strong & lighter than Polypropylene. Very Flexible. Usually in glossy finishes.
Fibre Glass
Harder & heavier than Polycarbonate but not as flexible. Not as strong compared to Polypropylene. Hence, more prone to damage under aggressive handling. Usually comes in matted finish.
ABS
Doesn't provide much protection. Considered one of the lightest material. Highly NOT recommended by sales pple.
Nylon
Lightest and strongest among all soft-case. Not protected against cuts. It's cloth afterall.
