On a Hot Day ...

TS is on reservist & Irene didn't join us for lunch today. Hence, YC, Val & myself decided to go for Bah Kut Teh opposite Central Mall. The weather was freaking HOT and we gals were famished. We reached there drenched with our own perspiration, only to realized that the place closes on Monday >.<

Decided to lunch at Central Mall itself for some cooler environment. Settled ourselves at the Yoshinoya in the Basement. It still wasn’t cooling enough, and Val was busy fanning herself throughout.

We gals ordered Beef with Vege rice, while YC had spicy Beef.

The supposedly "spice" looks like the chili toppings in the Pizza Hut to me. It wasn't spicy at all, according to YC. Val got a bottle of chili toppings from somewhere and we began to sprinkle it generously to our food.

Decided to walk around after lunch to cool ourselves down. The carpark area has a nice view of the Singapore River and we took some "tourist photo" using YC's camera. Also did some window-shopping. YC appeared bored. Bought myself a Pink Hippo "Handphone Pet" as my current one is getting old & worn-out. For some reason, we gals were very sleepy when we went back to office. Not sure if it's the food, or the work that's awaiting us ... *YAWNZzzz*
