Had been using a temporary Acer laptop owned by my technical manager previously. Told me the hard disk was problematic, which I didn't experience much. Except that it can be ridiculously slow at times and the zip application hang whenever I tried to use it =X
The new batch of laptops arrived today. Got mine together with the rest of the cell leads. The day was spent, chopping up the humongous 250 C drive & windows updates. The new Dell came with a 15" wide screen & seemed as heavy as the Dell. Anyway, not planning to bring it home so weight wasn't the issue. The Specs was great, with a Duo processor & 3+ Gig memory. Woohoo!
