The boss has instructed me to watch over my hard disk & not to let the technician in to our office premises. Hence, led the guy to the pantry to do the job. Felt kinda stupid to sit and watch him dismantling my Dell. Hence, took my hard disk away & left him alone to dismantle & replace my new motherboard, hoping he will feel more at ease.
The assigned technician, Ong, was quite a friendly & funny chap. Said that my model had too many wires which annoyed many, hence the job was pushed to him. It seemed that they have assigned technician at different location. Also learned that they don't have a basic pay, but only receive commission ($20+++) for each job done.
Anyway, he did a decent job. Now my Dell is working fine again. Hope it stays that way :&
