Nobody seems to be keeping to their own lanes. There was no traffic lights, nor was there anyone directing the traffic. Hence, everyone was moving Horizontally, Vertically & Diagonally at the same time! No, I wasn't describing the traffic in our neighboring countries, but the scenario in competition pool of Bishan Swimming Complex.
There were at least 4 different instructors ,yelling off different instructions to their own students. I was practically doing a S-Course with breast stroke for my 1st 10 laps, next 10 of free styles wasn't done that freely. Reason? I had pause after every few strokes to check out for blind spots. That was to avoid kicking the innocents and at the same time, protecting myself from unexpected slaps.
Guess I chose the wrong day for a swim. Can't help it, the weather was so freaking hot!!!
