Bravo Italy – [ASSISI to FLORENCE] - Sienna

Morning is especially cold today. Perhaps it's partially due to my flu, as my usual defense to coldness seemed to drop drastically. But the sky seemed a little gray, as compared to the sunny blue ever since I stepped into Italy.

There's more boring cathedral visits at Sienna today. But, the local guide wasn't boring at all. Leah, our tour mate from New York looked in the opposite direction when the guide says "Right in front of you". From then on, she received endless teasing from him.

Besides encouraging us to devour the pigeons around as lunch, he seemed to come prepared too. During our walk, it started to drizzle slightly. In a matter-of-fact manner, he opened the umbrella he had brought, advised us to follow closely on Italy's weather report, and continued smoothly with his story on the St Catherine church o.O

The slight drizzle turned into a mini-downpour during lunch time. XJ, HJ & myself shared 2 pastas & 2 drinks which amounted to €25 in total. Thankfully, it ended after we finished our lunch. None of us brought umbrellas nor ponchos today -_-'''
