Bravo Italy – [LA SPEZIA to VENICE] – Hotel

When I 1st stepped into Hotel Centrale, I thought that it would be the best hotel we were going to have while in Italy. Though not big in size, the deco at the lobby gave it a glamorous look. Was really happy to see a lift, be it a small one.

However, my hopes fell to a disappointment as we enter into the bedroom. The shape of ours was a little odd, like that of a pentagon. I had to carry my pink Lojel up to cross over to the other side of my bed. Simply because there's a small luggage stand opp my bed which wasn't movable, and the passage through was way too narrow for my luggage to go through.

Dinner provided was pasta & pizza ... AGAIN! Nonetheless, I enjoyed the meaty lasagna. Dessert wasn't bad either. Ben & Sally sitting opposite us ordered red wine. The vase-shaped bottle looks big, but the wine didn't really taste good, according to the couple. Ben had to finish most of it because Sally had a sudden pounding headache. She seemed to feel better after some panadol from HJ. She also commented that the panadol she had from some other countries wasn't as strong & effective.

Saw the caring & gentle side of Ben besides his usual nonsensical behavior. Learnt that he's actually in the army (Now, that explains his enormous appetite & the way he carry those huge back packs!) while Sally is on some on & off jobs. The couple meant to get married but was delayed a couple of times due to Ben's army schedule. They were planning to get married next year, and was really hoping to really get into it.

May this jolly couple be blessed with happiness :)
