Confirmed our suspicion on having to pay more for the buffet breakfast today. Some of our tour mates took some buffet and was asked to pay by the hotel staffs. For some reason, Dario looked annoyed becoz of it.
Today, we are heading back to ROME. Stopped by the hilltop city of Orvieto to have lunch. There's a jam on the way, hence delaying our schedule. According to Dario, Truffle is actually a kind of mushroom and smell a bit like gas. Had Pork fillet with black truffle which tasted yummilicious. It cost €10, but amounted to around €13.50 after the +++. Certain restaurants do have this per-head-charge on top of tax & service charges.
Despite the 1.5hrs limit (AGAIN!!! It had really got into my nerves!), HJ managed to get some chocolates & biscuits. Rushed over to snap some hill-top-view pictures before hurrying back to the bus.
