Breaky was enjoyable. I had 2 servings of croissants with butter+cheese+jam spread, 2 servings of cereals, a pack of crunchy bread & 1 cup of cappuccino. I usually don’t eat much in the morning, but for some reason, I was VERY HUNGRY. It was actually past lunch time back in S’pore. Maybe my stomach is suffering from a jet lag?
Just as we were wondering what to do to kill the time before meeting the Topdeck crew, the hotel attendant informed us that we have to proceed to Hotel Giotto as Topdeck have changed the meeting place!
WTF. We intentionally booked this hotel for our extra night as we were told that this was the meeting place. Now, we have to travel to another?! (We later found out that it’s a sister hotel to Beethoven). The funny guy (who kept calling Jo "My Baby"), helped us book a Taxi to take us there, costing €14 in total.
Realized that we did pass by that hotel during our walk the previous evening. It’s pretty near & we might be able to walk there if we weren’t carrying those luggage. Hotel Giotto actually looks more spacious than Beethoven. Went out to find some lunch after depositing our luggages in Giotto’s storage room.
We went to the pizza place we passed by. It is decorated with many Coke Bottles. Very impressive. Decided to get Lasagna today as I m starting to develop a sore throat. Wonder if it’s due to the pizza yesterday, plus the lack of sleep & water. Lunch cost me €3.
