Went back to the hotel room and was dismay to find the soles of my sport shoes coming apart! XJ said if sports shoes are washed, confirm spoil! Already told Mom not to touch the pair I m wearing to Italy, but she couldn’t stand it and washed it. URGH! It’s only the 2nd day! Rather, my actual tour has yet to start!
Need to meet up the Topdeck crew at 2pm. Call up Mom to give her a good "scolding". Hope I will have time to shop for some walking shoes later on. For now, I can only rely on the SGD$4.50 "fishbone" rubber slippers I got in the market near my house. Kinda feels funny to have slippers on with jeans.
