Leah, JJ+Bek, Smita+Josh & Shannon+Elly left our tour group today. There were newcomers too - Nick, Ben+Sally, Lauren+Tim, Mike+David. The morning was basically full of hugs, farewell & welcome. Dario looked rather annoyed when Lauren+Tim were still sleeping in the room when we were suppose to leave for Lucca.
**Later found out from Lauren that their HP went dead, and they were very sorry & embarrassed for making everyone wait. "Everyone must have thought we are bad ppl for making everyone wait!" exclaimed Lauren *ROFL*.
There's nothing much except for Cathedrals in the quite town of Lucca. Decided to go on foot instead of cyling since it would be a long walk from the cycling shop to our final meeting place. Jo & HJ ate the supposedly buffet in Di Simo Caffe which was €10. I would have welcome the buffet of pizza, pasta & lasagna on Day 1. But definitely not TODAY. Me & XJ just grabbed a €1.50 pizza at some store we passed by.
Did some climbing to the top of the Torre Guingi - "Tower with 7 oak trees". Entrance was €3.50. The view on top was nice. Was having trouble fitting all 7 trees into my picture becoz there wasn't much walking space on the top. XJ commented that the tower is about 10 storey high. Didn't find the climb that tiring despite of my flu.
